After the recent rants from NYC’s top DJ Funkmaster Flex calling out Hip Hop mogul Jay Z,
the atmosphere in the Big Apple is heavy, in anticipation for the response from Jay Z’s camp. Well it has officially been reported, by a MediaTakeOut.com exclusive, that Jay Z is in negotiations to buy one of NYC’s #1 radio stations Hot 97.
According to a ROCK SOLID SOURCE – Shawn “Jay Z” Carter along with a group of investors that includes NY Knicks star Carmelo Anthony are currently NEGOTIATING TO BUY Hot 97 radio station. Talks are still early, but we’re told that both sides have HIRED LAWYERS and INVESTMENT BANKERS – and are serious in getting a deal done.
Me, myself, I would like Jay Z to be the owner of Hot97, but we'll see after that how many times his songs will be played, I don't mean he has any problem with the radios playing his music, but let's be honest the boss gotta be on the top, not the rest of the crew.
