Fetty Wap Reveals Album Release Date

After that he dropped this summer hit after hit, Fetty Wap is finally ready to release his debut album this fall.
According to the Associated Press, the untitled project will arrive on Sept. 25, just days before the deadline for Grammy eligibility.

“I’m just waiting for it to get mixed and mastered,” said Wap. “My album been done for like two months now.”

Lyor Cohen, who signed Wap to 300 Entertainment, didn’t want to rush out an album.

“Our industry is lacking on a wholesale level of artist development…and we feel that [Wap is] just so brilliant and has developed this new style, new sound,” said Cohen, who helped shape the careers of Jay Z, Ja Rule, and Ludacris.

On the Billboard Hot 100 - Wap currently has two top 10 hits —”Trap Queen” and “My Way”—while a third, “679”, sits at No. 17.
And there’s no stopping  for Wap who recently shared the stage with Taylor Swift and is nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards this month.
You can see him on Chris Brown’s “One Hell of a Nite” tour, which kicked off last night in Kansas City.
